“Their energy is electrifying, their movements suffused with a rush of joy and yet ruthlessly precise and the frenetic flow of onstage activity is almost non–stop. It’s a high-octane pleasure to warm up the coldest winter night.”

ABOUT THE MERCHANTS OF BOLLYWOOD
The story begins in India, in the deserts of Rajasthan, in the temple of Shiva. The Merchant family dynasty holds the responsibility of upholding the ancient traditions of the Kathak dance, the dance of the Gods.
Shantilal Merchant is the last in the line of gurus. This tradition is about to die out.
Bollywood Dance is a form all its own. Borrowing generously from Western free-form and Indian Classic styles, Bollywood dancing is all about energy, vibrancy, and above all, telling a story.
