ABOUT BREAK THE TANGO
What happens when tango dancers from Argentina, international break-dancers and an Electrotango band get together? “BREAK THE TANGO” is a dance show that combines two very different dance styles. Where tradition meets modernity and all rules are broken.
“Break the Tango” is the symbiosis of tradition and modernity, from South America and Europe. Tango meets Streetdance. Traditions are broken, new movements arise. Visual effects, tight and new choreography and a strong atmosphere are the mainstays of the concept.
The dancers are accompanied by the Argentinian live band Otros Aires and a singer. The style ranges from electrotango to traditional pieces and modern pop music, which are re-arranged to meet the tango basic tonality.
